About AHE

Built for the long haul.

American Heritage Equine outfits trainers, ranchers, and champions with tack engineered to last a lifetime in the saddle — designed, assembled, and shipped from Durant, Oklahoma.

A piece of tack should outlive the horse that wore it first.

AHE started the way most good brands do — on the rail, watching gear fail in the one place it shouldn’t. A bad cinch on a good colt. A cheap boot on a four-hundred-thousand-dollar futurity run. We set out to build tack that doesn’t apologize.

Three decades later we’re still at it. Every piece we sell — from the curb chain a kid runs barrels with to the cinch under a world-champion header — carries the same promise: honest materials, honest work, and a phone number that rings a real office in Durant when something’s off.

What we stand for

Three things we don’t compromise.

01

Materials that earn it

Ballistic nylon, stainless hardware, full-grain leather. The spec sheet is the marketing.

02

Build it local

Assembled and inspected in Durant, Oklahoma. If you call us about a stitch, a person picks up.

03

Stand behind it

If it breaks before it should, we make it right. That’s the whole warranty policy.

A short history.

  1. Origin From the arena floor

Founded on the observation that the tack the pros trusted wasn’t the tack on the shelf. We built the first run of cinches for friends and found a line forming.

  2. Growth Durant becomes home

Opened a dedicated workshop in Durant, Oklahoma — the kind of place where a trainer can walk in with a broken piece and walk out with a fix.

  3. Today Outfitting champions

Our chains, boots, and cinches ride under riders at every level — from weekend trail to world finals — shipped direct from Durant nationwide.

Ride with tack that earns its keep.
